Will ZeroStick sticks ever drift?
Our sticks use TMR magnetic sensors, which are contactless, so they don't wear into drift the way stock potentiometer sticks do. They're backed by our 5-year stick warranty.
What is TMR?
Tunneling magnetoresistance: a magnetic sensor that reads stick position without any rubbing parts. See TMR vs Hall effect.
Do the modules fit a standard DualSense?
No. They're for the DualSense Edge only. See compatibility.
Do I need to calibrate the modules?
No. Every module is calibrated and tested before it ships. Calibration stays unlocked if you want to re-tune. See testing and calibration.
How hard is installation?
About a minute, with no tools or soldering. See the installation guide.
How does the mail-in service work?
We pay shipping both ways. Once your modules arrive, we upgrade them and ship them back within 48 hours, pre-calibrated. We can also ship replacements first with a refundable deposit per module. See the Mail-in TMR Service.
